Sustainable mission
At De Bresser, we work each day to make the world a better place, together with partners such as Top Movers. By using sustainable furniture, we can reduce our CO2 emissions by 40-90%. In our Circular Hub, spread over 7,000 m², we have pooled all our circular expertise and production facilities. Here, we give new life to used furniture, extending its lifespan and thus contributing to a circular economy. Our collaboration with Top Movers works well because, like us, they are used to working with products that are not new, treating them with respect.

Top movers
Working together for a better world
Our collaboration with Top Movers has led to significant progress in making moving processes more sustainable. Some of our joint initiatives to reduce our environmental impact and promote social sustainability.
Offsetting carbon emissions
Performance ladder step 3 certificate, from February 2023. The CO2 Performance Ladder is about saving energy, reducing CO2 in the chain, and using renewable energy.
Return of company clothing
We use the return collection service programme. Clothing that is no longer worn is responsibly processed into a new finished product.
Social sustainability
Our employees are a reflection of society. This means that we also take into account individual wishes, capabilities and needs.
A second chance for textiles and household goods
In 2023, we launched an additional service for the private market, enabling customers to give old household goods and textiles a second life.
Sustainable packaging materials
In 2022, students from TU Delft helped Top Movers look at new, sustainable packaging materials. The result is the cradle to cradle moving box.
Smarter routes and network efficiency
The more efficiently we move, the fewer kilometres we drive, so we involve our employees in solving issues and giving input on possible solutions.
Business premises of the future
At Top Movers, we aim to achieve energy-neutral premises. For instance, many members already have solar panels on their properties.
Waste processing
Top Movers separates the various waste streams for processing.
